What up, though! I told you guys we were doing some redecorating, yes? Welllll, we’ve officially remodeled the kitchen. It was a long and winding road, but we finally got it all done. Here are just a couple before and after shots:  Wait: Let me be clear.  The before were the people before.  I did not have anything to do with the hideousity (I made that up) of the before decorations. Okay.  Here:

So, as you can see we added a little paint, threw in a little stainless steel, took down Chelsea’s nameplate, and parted ways with the wallpaper border on the ceiling. The wallpaper border on the ceiling. Who.does.that??  Oh, the biggest change was that we deleted the bar (you can see it in the last picture), and extended the cooktop.  What I love most?  The venthood and the new faucet.  And the wooden blinds! Yay!

I’m still not done with the decorating. I’ve ordered a custom wall graphic that says “There’s a party in my tummy! So yummy! So yummy!”  that will go somewhere in there, and I’ve decided that purple will will be the accent color, so my friend Carmen is making a nice arrangement for the table.  But the most time consuming parts are done!  This process was long and tedious, and I’m so glad it’s over, but I heart my new kitchen.  Don’t you?  Again…yay!
